Pedagogical approach
The general idea of our workshop is to apply the “blended learning” principle – the work shop will start with a preparatory phase (individually performed by all the participants), followed by the workshop that will include individual, group, frontal approaches, ICT use etc and finalized by a simulation performed gain individually after the workshop, in the participant’s institutions/organizations.
Beside the “learning by teaching” described in the section above, the following approaches will be used:
- presentations of the main concepts of sustainable development/ education for sustainable development – lead by experts in the field
- game/simulation method – this will increase the atractivity and interactivity of the workshop sessions
- case studies – concrete examples, representatives from global, European, regional, local level
- role play (within the simulation method), but with a special attention on the communication abilities of the participants
- exercises – eg: project writing and implementation
- educational software use – the ICT will be used for the individual applications/exercises
